Finding Your Tribe
Building a regenerative business can feel like walking an uncharted path—lonely at times, misunderstood by many. But then, every so often, you meet the right people. The ones who see what you see. Who believe in the mission. Who push you to dream bigger and go further.
This journey is not for the faint of heart. It means questioning the way things have always been done. It means choosing long-term impact over short-term gain, even when the world around you seems obsessed with the opposite. And sometimes, it means feeling like you’re walking alone.
But then, every so often, you meet the right people. The ones who see what you see. Who believe in the mission. Who push you to dream bigger and go further.
It’s hard—but it can be done. We shared about the Why behind moving from doing less harm to regenerating our Planet with over 10,000 participants from Paragon.
Every movement for change starts with a few people who refuse to accept the status quo. The ones who see the cracks in the system and choose to build something better instead of looking away. The ones who show up—day in, day out—despite the challenges, because they know what’s at stake.
Regenerative business isn’t just about sustainability—it’s about healing. It’s about restoring relationships: with the land, with the people who make our clothes, with the communities we touch. It’s about proving that business can be a force for good when we lead with intention and integrity.
Grateful to share this mission of regeneration with Dr. Sari and Ibu Dini from Paragon, and Mas Widhar from Systemiq. Here’s to the impact we’ll create—together!
Through running my farm-to-closet fashion brand, SukkhaCitta, I’ve learned that real impact happens when we find the right people to walk with us. This is equally true in our own team - but also our partners and local champions in the field.
People who challenge us to think bigger, hold us accountable, and remind us why we started. This work is too big for any one of us to take on alone—it’s a collective movement, and every step forward matters.
So if you’re out there, feeling like you’re pushing against the tide—keep going. The path may be uncharted, but you are not alone. As you continue to show up for what you believe in, those who see what you see will find you.
